Sleep Peacefully! Everything Is Taken Care Of...


There is a time to work and there is a time to sleep. Unless you have become so immersed "in the flow" that your work has become your foremost recreational activity (which, by the way, is extremely rare :-), you have to let go of your work and all its challenges at bedtime. Otherwise your sleep will be seriously hampered.

Usually the desire to plan ahead is based on a lack of confidence. Things will take care of themselves just at the right time in the right way. Reserve an adequate part of the night for your sleep necessary for your body's rejuvenation.

If you are anxiously planning ahead and thinking about problems that might arise in your work, you will numb your inner voice of guidance. This voice can be best accessed during deep relaxation and sleep, and it will guide you according to your intention.

To set your general intention for your overall life and to set specific intentions for all areas of your life, which are important to you, is the most crucial part of your personal development. Even during your sleep your superconsciousness will serve you by offering you knowledge and advice how to achieve your intentions in the best ways possible.

Do you want to just stumble on and on, living by default, being operated by other persons, circumstances and events, or do you want to take your fate into your very own hands?

8. Planning Ahead

So far one could say, this is the only constructive reason for sleeplessness given. Progressive, far-sighted people usually spend many of the hours in which they should be sleeping in making plans for the future.

But as admirable as this trait appears, a weakened physical condition is developed which may later hold one back from doing the things he has planned to do.

Solution: In planning for the future, why not take full advantage of the great source of intelligence and power contained within your subconscious mind?

Retire with a thought, such as:

"While I am asleep, my subconscious mind will draw from my experience of the past, and from it will formulate practical and progressive moves for the future. I am happy in anticipation of my continuous growth and achievement.”

You can, if you wish, be more specific as to your future. If you have a definite objective, include it in the bed-time instruction to your subconscious mind. For instance:

"While I am asleep, my subconscious mind will decide the proper steps I should take in obtaining wider distribution for my product (mention name), and I will be guided accordingly."

Have faith in your inner guidance system. As Wallace D. Wattles puts it in his 1910 classic "The Science of Getting Rich":

"All the promises are unto them that believe, and unto them only."

Therefore, just relax and enjoy your sleep. Everyting is taken care of. All is well.
