Struggle is Detrimental to Authentic Self Esteem
Based on the false concepts of competition and struggle, every living entity tries hard to establish some artificial self esteem by developing different sets of survival strategies, mostly by trial and error and a limited power of discrimination.
Darwin
is greeting! Some appear strong and smart and their concept for survival is to act, dominate and overpower. Others have decided to be victims, weak and poor and they will survive by stirring up guilt in others. Every living entity, even animals and plants, have their strategy for survival. If you look into the world of animals, you will find the most surprising and even bizar strategies for survival. But surely you’ll find these bizar things also among human beings.
I don’t want to go into detail here, but if you are eager for more information just open any clinical handbook of mental diseases and you will be satiesfied. Sane or insane, there is literally no end to the development of suitable strategies for survival.
Our Fate is Stored in Our Mind
The pattern of this strategies are stored on our mind on a very subtle material level. It is these patterns that govern all neural processes in our brains and nervous systems. They decide how we think and feel, what we look like, about health and disease, charismatic or looser, thick or thin, powerful or weak, eloquent or dumb. Therefore it is a fact that our fate is stored in the mind. To change a persons mental structure is to change a persons fate. It is said: “Conquer your thoughts and you will conquer the world.” This fact is extremely important for our personal development.
Most people think that they have to struggle hard to boost their self esteem. The fact is that it is getting harder the grosser the platform you are working from. If you just work on symptoms, it will be hard and the results will be temporary. If you work on the mental plane, it will be easy and the results will be everlasting. We have to change our mental blueprint.
